CORONA VIRUS CONTINGENCY PLAN
September 14, 2020 Update
Due to the announcement from the Manitoba Government,
the rent freeze will have been lifted as of September 30th, 2020.
As of October 1, 2020, all rent increases and late fees
will be in effect.
Astroid Management has implemented its Corona Virus
Contingency Plan as a means of eliminating direct face to face
contact to its head office and site staff (resident managers and
site managers). The head office on McPhillips continues to remain
closed to any foot traffic. Communication can only be made by phone or
email. Our head office debit machine is not available until
further notice. Rent can be paid online and rent cheques can be
slipped under the front door of our McPhillips office. No receipts
will be issued.
Only emergency repairs and repairs to maintain tenant
services will be made. Astroid reserves the right to postpone a
repair if it deems the repair unnecessary to protect the health
and safety of the tenant or the integrity of the building.
Astroid Management has instructed its resident managers to
communicate by voice or text only. This means that Resident
Managers will not be able to answer their doors. As you know
their contact information is available on our website under the
contact tab and under the corresponding building.
We are still renting suites, but without face to face contact
with our staff. The onsite staff will schedule a time for you
to view the apartment, buzz you in and ensure that the suite
door is unlocked. You can submit an online application and send
an electronic security deposit online as well. Move-outs will
also be conducted free of face to face contact. Speak with our
staff for more information.
